About Us
The Turning Point School is a full-academic year home education instructional program with an optional summer day camp program. We provide structured academic lessons, guided learning activities, and educational support designed to complement parent-directed home education.
Our program offers instruction across core subject areas, including reading, mathematics, science, and applied learning. In addition to academics, we place a strong emphasis on building resiliency and practical life skills. Students engage in structured routines and hands-on learning experiences that encourage perseverance, responsibility, problem-solving, and confidence.
Our Mission
Our mission is to redefine education by reconnecting children to foundational truths, practical skills, and purposeful learning—preparing them not just for tests, but for life. We believe meaningful education equips students with the knowledge and abilities needed to navigate real-world challenges with confidence.
Our Vision
We believe education should form thinkers, builders, and leaders—not just students. At The Turning Point School, we emphasize learning through doing, knowing that confidence grows from experience and the true understanding of one's own capabilities.
The Turning Point School values small-group instruction, individualized support, and a balanced approach to education. By integrating academic learning with life skills and applied experiences, we help students develop both strong educational foundations and the confidence to take on challenges beyond the classroom.
We serve families seeking an alternative educational pathway and proudly support students funded through Step Up for Students FTC-PEP and FTC-UA scholarships. Our offerings include a full academic-year program, with separate summer learning opportunities available.
